Register Your Snow Carving Team

Now that we have SNOW.... register your team with the Menasha Park & Rec for amateur snow carving (THIS SATURDAY)! Here's a good time to try your hand at snow-carving. Professional snow carvers are on hand also to show off their skills and offer suggestions to anyone that shows an interest in carving. Did I mention we have SNOW this year?! (we've been shorted the last couple years so please excuse my exuberant enthusiasm). The event is held at the Memorial Building on Keyes Street in Menasha (DOTY ISLAND)

We open at 12:00pm, but if you are carving, there is no official start time. Usually the earlier the better. The judging of the sculptures is usually about 1pm. We will have hot coffee ready for you starting at 9:30am to help keep you warm. Free chili (made and served by the N/M Fire Department) hot chocolate and cookies will be served starting at noon for all attendees and participants. First come; first served!

If you aren't into snow carving, the Menasha Historical Society will be OPEN and the Menasha Library will be reading to children starting at 1pm upstairs (2nd floor of the Memorial Building).
